Kenmare Celebrates 26th Gold medal and County Second!

A wonderful achievement for our beautiful town and the dedicated volunteers who keep it looking its very best!

There is plenty to celebrate in Kenmare as our beautiful town has secured an impressive scoring just 2 points below the winner and is now County second.

This fantastic achievement is a testament to the extraordinary dedication, hard work and community spirit of Kenmare Tidy Towns, whose volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that Kenmare remains one of Ireland's most beautiful and welcoming towns.

A very special congratulations must go to Patricia Holbein, Noel Crowley and every member and volunteer of Kenmare Tidy Towns. Their commitment to our town is nothing short of remarkable.

From maintaining our beautiful streets and colourful floral displays to caring for our green spaces and promoting biodiversity & sustainability, their efforts make an enormous difference to the appearance and atmosphere of Kenmare.

And while visitors regularly compliment the beauty and charm of our town, it is easy to forget just how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep it looking so wonderful.

A Community Effort Worth Celebrating

Kenmare's success is built on a strong sense of community pride, and the work of our Tidy Towns volunteers is a shining example of what can be achieved when people come together for the good of their town.

Their dedication benefits everyone, from the residents who are proud to call Kenmare home to the businesses that welcome visitors from all over the world.

For a town where tourism plays such an important role in the local economy, the contribution of Kenmare Tidy Towns simply cannot be overstated.

Their dedication was particularly evident recently when Kenmare welcomed NBC's TODAY Show to town. The wonderful Tidy Towns volunteers went above and beyond to ensure Kenmare was looking its absolute best for this very special occasion. With millions of viewers getting a glimpse of our beautiful town, their hard work helped us showcase Kenmare at its very finest. It was a wonderful example of the pride they take in our town, not just for special occasions, but throughout the entire year.
