Jam Cafe

description

Overview

A Cafe, Bakery, Deli and also offering Catering for all your events big or small.

Jam Kenmare was our first ever shop and occupies a special place in our heart.
It's located on Henry Street, in the centre of the beautiful heritage town of Kenmare.

It's a busy atmospheric store usually full of locals and visitors alike and staffed by some of the most charming Kerry people you're likely to meet! Open six days year round and seven days in high season and with chairs and tables outside to catch the sunshine and watch everyone go by.

The shop offers eat in or take out dishes from the full jam menu and is open until 5.30pm. There's plentiful, comfortable seating both inside and outside and is wheelchair and buggy friendly. WCs on site (upstairs).

one of the best places to eat in Kenmare, and the best value too The best sandwich is the Chicken Coupe, which has a whole chicken breast, egg may, stuffing and salad....Beware if you have this for lunch, you wont be needing a dinner, their cakes pastries and soups are also amazing, and my son when he was small always asked for Jam soup as soon as we got to town for our annual holiday some may be put off at the length of the queues at times, but there are a lot of staff and even if they are lining out the door, I guarantee you will be served very quickly

Kenmare as a Base of Exploration

09 May 2019

Kenmare is a lovely town, ideally situated between the Rings of Kerry and Beara. It’s outside the hustle and bustle of Killarney, but still has plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs.
