Noggin Theatre Company (Violet Gibson:The Woman Who Shot Mussolini, Liv) is delighted to return by popular demand with A Night with Mary McEvoy including Fruitcake (55mins) written and directed by Alice Barry and an interval followed by fun and frolics with Alice and Mary. Mary McEvoy (Biddy in Glenroe), one of Irelands best-loved actors will perform the hugely successful Fruitcake after which there will be an interval. ‘Here’s some I made earlier’ fruitcake will be provided. Mary will then return for a discussion with Alice Barry (Writer and Director). They will review Mary’s acting career, books, buddhism, depression and recent weight loss and the floor will be open for any questions from the audience. Mary will be available to sign copies of her books and meet and greet any interested parties. Warning; both parties prone to outbursts of song and poetry. Fruitcake (First Half) Mary McEvoy captivates her audience in this delightful, moving one woman show.
