The closest airport to Kenmare is Kerry Airport at Farranfore which is about 50 minutes' car journey from the town. Cork airport is 80 minutes' drive away. The most direct route from the airports is via the N22 road which links Killarney and Cork. Turn off at loo bridge for Kenmare on the R569 which is well signposted.
Buses from the airports connect with the major town of Killarney from which a bus direct to Kenmare can be taken. There is also a daily bus service direct from Cork City to Kenmare via Bandon, Skibbereen and Bantry.
