    Lets Read Together! A short course for parents & children on reading together. In partnership with Adult LIteracy, this program starts in Kenmare FRC on Thurs. 26th Jan, 10 - 11am, for 6 weeks.     This March will see the return of the Carnegie Players to our stage. One of John B. Keane’s plays “The Chastitute” will open on Friday 10th March and run for four nights until Monday 13th March. Show begins at 8pm, with a gala opening night from 7:30pm on Friday 10th. “The Chastitute” is filled with humour but tainted with sadness for a lonely man’s valiant efforts to find love and companionship. The ensemble cast, led by David Dwyer as John Bosco McLaine himself, is a mixture of faces new and old. The production is directed by Julia O'Connor. Gala Opening Night - Friday 10th March 2017 @ 7:30pm- Curtain up @ 8pm Further Shows on the 11th,12th & 13th March @ 8pm Tickets: €15 / €12 (Students)

  • Wild Atlantic Challenge

    The longest all boat multi route rowing event on the Wild Atlantic Way is coming to Kenmare WAC Kenmare, the Wild Atlantic Challenge are currently about to launch this great rowing event which is happening on Saturday the 13th of May 2017. All types of rowing boats or boards from paddle boards and canoes to sculls and 14 person dragon boats are invited to take part and will have 5 different routes to choose from. All Rowing clubs all over Ireland, England Wales and Scotland as well as clubs in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium & The Netherlands, will be invited to take part this rowing challenge which will have a choice of distances, 5,10,20 & 30 Kms routes inside the Kenmare Bay.
