The 4 Of Us shot to early fame towards the end of 1989 with their debut Songs for the Tempted, which featured the massive hits Mary and Drag My Bad Name Down. The follow up Man Alive made Q magazine's prestigious Top 50 Albums of 1992 and included the UK Top 30 song She Hits Me. ‘Sugar Island’, their latest album, explores the brothers' early years growing up in Northern Ireland; musically, it focuses on the trademark interplay of their acoustic guitars. As singer Brendan recalls: ’It was a dark time for sure, but as kids we still managed to have a lot of fun. The longest all boat multi route rowing event on the Wild Atlantic Way is coming to Kenmare WAC Kenmare, the Wild Atlantic Challenge are currently about to launch this great rowing event which is happening on Saturday the 13th of May 2017. All types of rowing boats or boards from paddle boards and canoes to sculls and 14 person dragon boats are invited to take part and will have 5 different routes to choose from. All Rowing clubs all over Ireland, England Wales and Scotland as well as clubs in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium & The Netherlands, will be invited to take part this rowing challenge which will have a choice of distances, 5,10,20 & 30 Kms routes inside the Kenmare Bay.Event Details
