Cork City Jazz Band to become a regular feature in Kenmare

The Brook Lane Hotel in Kenmare is delighted to announce the arrival to the Kingdom of the Cork City Jazz Band. The Jazz Band have been playing for over 30 years and are without doubt the best known Dixieland band in the south. The Cork City Jazz Band has been invited to play all over the world – from Belgium to New York – and have performed with such greats as Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk.
Having recently come to the end of an entertaining and remarkable 25 year regular Sunday slot in Kinsale, they are now set to thrill the Kerry crowds on Sunday afternoons. The Cork City Jazz Band’s founding players evolved from other bands in the Cork area and only three of the original remain, namely, Marco Petrassi, Billy Crosbie and Gerry Walsh.

The show begins at 3pm on Sundays and finishes at 6pm.
